A glove port is used to attach a glove to a viewing panel, for safe remote handling of items beyond the panel.

The glove port assembly consists of an outer port, two gaskets and an inner securing ring. The glove bead fits onto the outer port and can be secured in position using a stainless steel clip and an O ring. A bung assembly can also be fitted to the glove port to give an airtight seal without a glove in position.

We manufacture glove ports in a number of shapes and sizes, the most popular being round, 150mm and 192mm diameter. Larger diameters are also available; 250mm and 305mm. Oval glove ports available are sized 150mm x 250mm and 200mm x 400mm.

The material used for these popular sizes of glove ports is black phenolic plastic with brass M6 inserts for the inner securing rings and stainless steel fixing screws.
